Platina Commercial Bank: 15 years of stability and innovations

Platina Commercial Bank celebrates these days the fifteenth anniversary since it registration at Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

For a Russian commercial bank fifteen years is a long term. Not all but just a few banks created in the beginning of the 1990s have lived to see the present day. Only the stable credit institutions have proved to be durable. Those are the institutions able to foresee the swift flowing changes of the Russian financial market very precisely and forestall them.

Platina bank is one of these successful and stable Russian banks. This bank is notable for its stability and reliability and that is what attracts very serious clients. It was not for nothing that it was one of the first Moscow banks accepted into the deposit insurance system.

Platina Commercial Bank was established on October 30, 1992, in Moscow, registered by Central Bank of Russian Federation on May, 20, 1993 (general license of Bank of Russia, No. 2347). The bank is a member of Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange, "Russia" Association. The Platina bank is also a direct participant of the settlement system BESP of the central Bank of the Russian Federation, a member of SWIFT and the international payment systems VISA (Principal Member) and MasterCard. The bank has its own processing center, certified by the VISA International payment system. The Platina bank participates in deposit insurance system (joined in 2004 among the first Moscow banks). Bank statutory fund comprises 63.03 mln rubles; shareholders' equity as of May 1, 2008 amounts to 435 mln rubles. The assets as of May 1, 2008 comprised 4.2 bln rubles.
