COMSTAR services in Siberia can now be paid through CyberPlat®

COMSTAR – United TeleSystems (COMSTAR-UTS, LSE: CMST), the largest operator of integrated telecommunication services in Russia and the CIS, announces that Regional Technical Center (RTC) OJSC, one of the leading communication providers in the Tyumen Region, a member of the Group of Companies COMSTAR-UTS, has provided its customers with a new opportunity to pay for fixed voice services and broadband Internet using the CyberPlat® payment system.

In 2Q 2009, RTC established partnership relations with CyberPlat®, one of the largest electronic payment systems in Russia. That has resulted in considerable expansion of payment acceptance geography for the RTC subscribers. Subscribers may use the CyberPlat® payment system to top-up their subscriber fees for such telecommunication services of COMSTAR as high-speed Internet, local, interzone and long-distance (including international traffic) telephony.
