CyberPlat^® payment system and SOBINBANK JSC put into effect the payment acceptance for gas on a national scale

A joint project of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC, SOBINBANK JSC and CyberPlat^® payment system will enable residents of nearly every single Russian region to make payments for natural gas via the distribution network of CyberPlat^® payment system.

Cooperation between Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC and CyberPlat^® payment system to provide individuals with an opportunity to pay for natural gas from every Russian location became possible thanks to SOBINBANK’s participation in the project. Taking on a role as system integrator, SOBINBANK JSC entered into contracts with nearly every regional branch of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC in Russia.

Since October 2010 SOBINBANK has been consistently implementing a program to expand the network of payment acceptance for gas in favor of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz’s regional branches. The purpose of the program is to provide people with optimal conditions for meeting gas bills» — says Evgeny Stepchenko, Chairman of the Bank. — «The joint project with CyberPlat^® payment system is the next step in this direction. This project has been implemented on the federal level and covers nearly every single Russian region, including Moscow and the Moscow region, Saint-Petersburg, Caucasus, Volga region, Siberia and the North-West Russia».

For the first time in the market history has CyberPlat^® payment system implemented a project to accept payments from natural gas consumers in virtually all regions of Russia. Previously this service wasn’t available to the public on a national scale.

Now, consumers of natural gas nearly in every single Russian region can easily and quickly pay for gas via the wide payment acceptance network operated by CyberPlat^® payment system, without wasting time on waiting in queues at bank branches as well as without commission on payments made via CyberPlat^® payment system.

Our participation in this project is another opportunity to use high-tech solutions of CyberPlat^® payment system. We are developing powerful modern financial infrastructure on a national scale, performing a critical function for state to ensure acceptance of a large amount of payments from the population in favor of providers of various goods and services. Cost of payments made through CyberPlat^® payment system makes their acceptance profitable even when accepting minimal amounts.
