CyberPlat®: Payment Acceptance in Favour of State Authorities Now Covers all Russia

CyberPlat® payment system and PLATINA commercial bank, the settlement bank of the system, have expanded cooperation with the Federal Treasury in accepting payments from individuals towards payment of federal taxes and dues on a national scale.

CyberPlat’s first project to accept payments in favour of state authorities was delivered in partnership with the Federal Treasury as early as 2010. At the same time it became possible to pay fines issued by traffic police via the settlement bank of Cyberplat® payment system.

The possibility to make quick and convenient payments in favour of state authorities via retail cash-desks, various sales channels of agent banks and payment terminals connected to CyberPlat® payment system became popular service among taxpayers due to its versatility and walking distance. Payment acceptance of fines issued by traffic police via the settlement bank of CyberPlat® payment system was very much appreciated by the population and the State Automobile Inspectorate.

The new technological solution designed for payment acceptance in favour of state authorities and carried out within the scope of the government System of Interagency Electronic Interaction (SIEI) has become even more convenient and effective. Connection to SIEI allows avoiding data interchange with each state agency individually. As a result, payments for state services are effected directly in favour of a state or municipal authority via the special informational payment gateway.

In order to pay taxes or dues, now it is sufficient to enter the index of the payment instrument specified at the top of the Federal tax service notification and the payer’s full name. In order to pay fines issued by traffic police it is required to specify either the date and number of the penalty charge notice, or the vehicle registration certificate number. All payments are effected in real-time mode.

Currently, such payment recipients are the Federal Tax Service (FNS) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD). Within the limits of the existing technological solution there are plans to connect the Federal Migration Service (FMS), the Federal Bailiff Service and the Russian State Register. Over the longer term individuals will be able to make quick, convenient and secure payments for such state services as registration of rights to immovable property and transactions involving such property, state expert examination of land use planning documentation, drawing-up and issuance of passports, registration of citizenship, obtaining certificates on the progress of enforcement proceedings, and many others. CyberPlat® payment system strives to make payment acceptance in favour of state authorities as much convenient and comfortable for the population as it is possible.

Now you do not need to stand in long queues at various authorities or banking outlets in order to make payments in favour of state authorities. Our technological solution is based on the so-called „single window principle“ and enables to increase the efficiency of accepting payments made in favour of state authorities as well as collectability of taxes and dues. This is yet another contribution of our payment system to development of powerful payment infrastructure in Russia,» — said Andrey Gribov, CEO of CyberPlat® payment system.
