Megafon subscribers in the Siberian Federal District can now put money into their accounts by paying cash at CyberPlat® payment reception outlets.

Money gets transferred into subscribers' accounts online with no additional surcharge. The new service is available in all of the regions covered by Megafon Siberia: Kemerovo and Novosibirsk oblasts and the Krasnoyarsk krai.

To pay for telecom services a customer just needs to fill out a special pay ticket, hand the cash to the cashier and get the receipt after the transaction has been processed. Transactions are secured by electronic signatures.

Now the services of the first Russia-wide mobile phone operator Megafon can be paid for through CyberPlat® in five federal districts, " remarked Vladimir Kuznetsov, Deputy Chairman of the "Platina" Bank's Board and Executive Director of CyberPlat®.

Mobicom- Novosibirsk CJSC
is a 100% subsidiary of Megafon OJSC, and operates the Megafon mobile network in the Siberian Federal District. The network was launched into commercial use in the Kemerovo and Novosibirsk oblasts and in the Krasnoyarsk krai. Design and construction work started in the Tomsk oblast and in the Altay krai. Customers have access to a broad range of additional services including GPRS.

Today the Megafon-Siberia network has 220 base stations, 2004 saw a 100% increase in this number. Four commutation centers were installed in Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Krasnoyarsk. In the second quarter the number capacity of the network was increased to 200 thousand and in the forth quarter this number reached 400 thousand.
