CyberPlat® and Euroset have simplified the fare payment in Moscow

CyberPlat and Euroset, the largest cell phone retailer in Russia, are expanding opportunities for topping up the Troika card designed to pay for public transport in Moscow. Thanks to the CyberPlat® electronic payment system, Muscovites and guests of the capital can now remotely top up their travel card in Euroset stores.

Funds can be placed to the card account commission-free at the checkout of any Euroset store in Moscow and the Moscow region.

After the remote replenishment, the placed funds should be credited to the card with the yellow information terminals situated in vestibules of every Moscow metro station. Once the funds are credited to the card, the Troika cardholder can travel in accordance with the tariffs of the Electronic Purse: 30 rubles for a single metro/monorails trip, 29 rubles for a single surface transport trip, and 46 rubles for a trip with changes in accordance with a 90 minute tariff.

The maximum amount of the single Troika card balance top-up is 2500 rubles. No commission is charged.

Such projects are introduced to shorten the queues in many world major cities with extensive transit systems: Oyster card in London, MetroCard in New York, and Suica in Tokyo. Now Muscovites can also save their time by promptly topping up their electronic card in Euroset outlets on their way to work or college avoiding the lines in metro ticket offices“, remarks Maria Shalina, Euroset Telecommunication Services Management Director.

The number of CyberPlat® payment acceptance outlets where one can make a quick and easy top-up of their Troika card is growing by the day. Retail networks of mobile carriers and electronic retailers, ATMs and internet-resources of the leading banks, as well as major terminal networks are at the service of Muscovites and guests of Moscow. Due to the increasing number of partner services, people can now choose a way of topping-up Troika card the fits them, which saves times and eliminates the havoc of the rush hour metro lines“, says CyberPlat® CEO Andrey Gribov.
