CyberPlat Kazakhstan is now PCI DSS compliant

CyberPlat Kazakhstan, the largest and historically first electronic payments provider in the Republic of Kazakhstan, has undergone certification and is now compliant with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) v. 3.2.

The certificate verifies that the company’s IT infrastructure is in compliance with security requirements for service providers operating in processing, storage and transfer of data about the card holders when working with international payment systems.

PCI DSS was developed by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council that includes representatives from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, and Discover. PCI DSS certification is undergone by processing companies, banks, trade enterprises, and other market participants. The standard has 12 detailed requirements and over 400 verification procedures to ensure security of cardholders’ data, including network monitoring and maintenance of the network security, access control, data protection, vulnerabilities management, and execution of IT security policies.
