CyberPlat® Has Started to Accept Payments in Favour of "Astrakhan GSM"
One more member of SMARTS companies group - the Volga region cellular communication operator "Astrakhan GSM" entered into the network of operators accepting payments from subscribers by means of universal payment system CyberPlat®.
"Astrakhan GSM" has started to provide communication services of GSM-900 standard in the Astrakhan oblast in 1998. Since 2002 the company has also been rendering services in a range of 1800 MHz. Offering today cellular communication as well as additional services (access to Internet, GPRS, MMS) to the subscribers, "Astrakhan GSM" takes a leading position at the market of oblast mobile communication. The enterprise is a member of SMARTS group of companies - the leader among regional operators of cellular communication in Russia. SMARTS enters into the five of leading operators of the country by the number of subscribers amounting over 1,5 million.
System CyberPlat®, which carries out payments in favour of communication operators, Internet providers, satellite and a cable television, payments for services of the housing communal services and power supply enterprises, has been working at the electronic payments market for more than 8 years and grows annually more than in 2.5 times. So the turnover of CyberPlat® in 2005 amounted 1 billion and 120 million dollars.
Today owing to cooperation between CJSC "Astrakhan GSM" and CyberPlat® network the procedure of company subscriber's personal account replenishment is reduced to filling a special order form by a client in one of CyberPlat® system payment offices. A mobile phone number of a subscriber as well as sum of payment are indicated in the application. Transfer of funds is carried out in real time.
